The Indiana Invasives Initiative Team of Regional Specialists provides FREE one-on-one Technical Assistance to landowners and land managers.
Runnin' & Wranglin' is a fundraiser that supports people partnering statewide for healthy soil, water, and wildlife. Teams raise money to support the Indiana Invasives Initiative, a statewide project that works in every county. These funds train citizens and professionals, build CISMAs, and host Weed Wrangles so invasive species impacts are addressed.
Join us as we celebrate progress (41 CISMAs, 40,000 acres in the program, and over 400 wrangles completed) and work to increase habitat by managing invasive species where you live, work, and play.
Register as a runner/walker on the Indiana Timing website, then head over to our fundraising page to create a team, join a team, or create your own fundraising page! As you gather and register your team be sure to share with your friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances, and the person behind you in the grocery store that you are fundraising for this important initiative. There will be team prizes, youth events, and fun challenges along the race route.

Indiana Invasives Initiative T-shirts are back!!
That’s right! Our Indiana Invasives Initiative shirt is available again! Perfect timing as we are all planning our events and Weed Wrangles for spring. Now you can cut that honeysuckle in style! We have more options in both long and short sleeve, color, and material (triblend and cotton). FYI - our vendor (Good Sports in Bedford, IN) will print shirts in bulk and send out monthly, so if you order early in the month, it might take a month to receive it.
SICIM receives a portion of the sales for each shirt, so while you are spreading the word by wearing it, you are also contributing to our important work to help protect natural areas in Indiana.
To see what’s available and to order visit the Good Sports website. To learn more about the Indiana Invasives Initiative, go to our III page.
